Those Behind The Rise of Takfeer in This Era – By Shaikh Ahmad An-Najmee

Shaikh Ahmad bin Yahyaa An-Najmee (rahimahullaah) said:

As for the rise of takfeer (to declare a person to be an unbeliever – outside the fold of Islaam) in this era; then those who have revived the madhab of takfeer in this era are the group: Ikhwaan Al-Muslimoon. That which would confirm this for you in order for you to be cautious of this group is the following:

This was Sayyid Qutb who made takfeer of the Ummah of Muhammad (Sallallaahu ‘alaili wa sallam) as occurs in vol 4 p.2122 of his tafseer: ‘Fee Dhilaal Al-Qur’aan’ wherein he stated:

“Indeed; today there is not to be found upon the face of the earth a Muslim State, nor a Muslim society in which the legal code of conduct is the Islamic sharee’ah and the Islamic Fiqh.”

He stated similar to this in the tafseer of Soorah Younus – rather he claimed in that: that the Mosques of the Muslims are idolatrous places of worship; and he encouraged revolutions in the tafseer of Soorah Al-Anfaal and claimed that Islaam commands that.

He said in the tafseer of Soorah Al-An’aam (vol 2 p.1057):

“Indeed time has turned to a state similar to that which had been on the day this religion came to mankind with: ‘laa ilaaha illallaah’. Mankind has indeed apostated to the worship of the servants and accepted the oppression of the religions and has retreated from: ‘laa ilaaha illallaah’. Even if it be that a group from them remain proclaiming on the minarets of the mosques that: ‘laa ilaaha illallaah’, without realising its significance/meaning.”

In vol 3 p.1634 of his tafseer he stated:

“The Muslims now do not perform Jihaad; that is because there are no Muslims to be found today. The issue of the presence of Islaam and the presence of Muslims – it is what is in need of remedying.”

Shaikh ‘Abdullaah bin Muhammad An-Najmee stated in his treatise: ‘Manba’ Al-Irhaab Al-Islaami’:

“Indeed the major figures from amongst the Ikhwaan Al-Muslimoon have bore witness to the takfeer of Sayyid Qutb of the collective Islamic societies. For this is Yoosuf Al-Qardaawee – the Ikhwaani who mentions in his book ‘Al-Ulowiyaat Al-Harakah Al-Islaamiyyah’ (p.110): ‘In this period appeared the books of Sayyid Qutb which exemplified the last phase of his takfeer that exudes with the takfeer of the masses; and a proclamation of jihad against the people in general.’

Fareed ‘Abdul-Khaaliq – one of the heads of the Ikhwaan Al-Muslimeen said in: ‘Meezaanul Haq’ (p.115):

“Indeed the rise of takfeer began with some of the youth of the Al-Ikhwaan whilst  imprisoned during the late 50’s and the early 60’s. They were influenced by the ideology of Sayyid Qutb and his writings and so took from that the notion that the masses were in a state of Jaahiliyyah and that he made takfeer of its rulers who contested the Haakimiyyah of Allaah on the basis that they did not rule with that which Allaah had revealed – as well as their subjects; if they are pleased with that.”

I say: A group of bombers who appeared on Saudi television acknowledged that they took the ideology of takfeer from the books of Sayyid Qutb – in particular: ‘Fee Dhilaal Al-Qur’aan’. In this is a refutation upon those individuals who allege that that which induced them to do so was unemployment or other than that. Therefore can there remain any doubt that the rise of takfeer in this era has come from the Ikhwaan Al-Muslimoon?

If you desire – O reader or listener that I should increase you in conviction that the Ikhwaan Al-Muslimoon are the fountainhead (origin) of terrorism in this era then read volume one of the book: ‘Qaafilah Al-Ikhwaan Al-Muslimoon’ by ‘Abbaas As-Sisi; and he is one of them.

Read page 258 wherein is the killing of the judge Ahmad Bek Al-Khazindaar carried out by way of assassination on behalf of the Ikhwaan Al-Muslimoon.

On page 267 is the mention of the incident of blowing up the Eastern Advertisement Corporation.

On page 269 and the following page is the mention of the incident surrounding the accident involving the jeep.

On page 271 wherein is the mention of the Al-Laaslaki station where there were found to be mines planted on behalf of the Ikhwaan Al-Muslimeen.

On page 272 and 273 is the mention of the members of Al-Ikhwaan who stood accused of involvement in the incident of the jeep as well as the ruling over them.

On page 275 wherein is the mention of the military order to disband the Al-Ikhwaan group.

On page 281 wherein is the decree of the disbandment of the Al-Ikhwaan group and the text illustrating the decree on p.281, 282 & 283.

On page 285 is the mention of the attempt to blow up the court of appeal.

On page 286 is a mention of the killing of An-Naqraashee in his Ministry by way of assassination carried out by one of the Ikhwaan Al-Muslimeen.

All of this is present at the end of volume one of ‘Qaafilah Al-Ikhwaan Al-Muslimoon’ of ‘Abbaas As-Sisi – and he was one of those closely associated with this methodology and he has been recorded for factual evidence and has acknowledged it. All of this – and other than it occurred during the life of Hasan Al-Banna between the years 1947-48CE.

Is there not found in this a clear proof that the Ikhwaan Al-Muslimeen are a partisan of takfeer who utilise violence and bombings; as well as being the terrorism which is troubling the present era?!
