“The Virtue of Knowledge and the Virtue of those who carry it and act upon it”

Lecture titles:

  • Explanation of the poem of Abu Ishāq Al-Albeeree al-Anduloosee on the seeking of knowledge and its mannerisms: Abu Mu’aadh
  • The qualities and virtues of the scholar and the student of knowledge: Readings from Imām Al-Ājurree: Abu Iyaad
  • Benefits in the Manhaj by studying the life and legacy of the Imām of Ahlus-Sunnah Ahmad Ibn Hanbal (d. 241H): Based upon the lecture of Al-‘Allāmah Ash-Shaikh Muhammad Ibn Hādee: Abu Khadeejah
  • Islamic principles and etiquettes taken from Al-Afnān An-Nadeeyyah of Al-‘Allāmah Zaid Al-Madkhalee: by Abu Idrees   
  • The making of the student of knowledge: Benefits from Tadhkiratus-Sāmi’ of Ibn Jamā’ah: Abu Hakeem 

Plus two question and answer panel sessions: Friday evening and Saturday evening.

Conference begins on Friday jumu’ah; followed by two lectures after asr prayer and then a major question and answer panel session after Maghrib, inshā’ Allāh – so missing Friday is not really an option! Lectures: 1pm, 3pm, 6pm, 8pm daily. Opportunity to ask questions, inshaa’Allaah. Maybe even some telelinks with some of the Scholars.

Mosque stay:

There is some limited overnight stay at the Masjid for brothers only, but we would not advise it. Hotel is better and more comfortable.
